What engine oil does everybody use in Australia for their 3.3TT Stinger?

Hi everyone, Kia Australia suggests I use 5w-30 A5 engine oil in my Stinger GT. But I have 9L of Castrol EDGE 5w30 A3/B4 left in my garage from my previous VW car, can I use this one?
Based on my understanding, A5 oil is a bit thinner than A3/B4 oil, and it's good for fuel economy, is that right? One of the Kia dealers suggests using Castrol Magnatec 5w30 A5 Start-stop oil, but I don't see its point, maybe because it's the only Castrol oil that meets the A5 standard？ Stinger doesn't have Start-stop feature in Australia
I'm interested in what oil everyone uses and do you guys have any suggestions? I don't care about fuel economy

Pennzoil Platinum or Platinum Euro. 5w30 in the summer and 0w20 in the winter (not Australia but shouldn't matter)

im with Rod, Pennzoil platinum or if you can find it I prefer Pennzoil ultra platinum 5w-30 but can be tricky to find!

I use the dealer for oil change/service but the Owners Manual states A5, I keep a litre of this if I need a “top up”.

When I did an oil change at 1500Kms I used Mobil 3000 X1 FE 5w-30 which is the same oil my dealership uses, Supercheap and Sparesbox often have it on discount.

The Engineers and the manufacturers suggestion is best for long term durability. Using some other specification could reduce the life span of the engine in the long term. It's in their best interest to have long term durability for the brand. Also, the cost of engine oil is the cheapest form of insurance.
