What do you guys use to clean the interior of your cars?

i just let the mrs do the cleaning. ha!, i mean, it is her car. but seriously, i have never heard of using vlr, always used a diluted vinegar solution for the windows and just a slightly damp towel for the interior. leather cleaner for anything that was covered in leather.

For general cleaning I'd suggest checking out Nextzett Cockpit Premium. Great for the dash, gauge cluster, navigation screens, audio components, shift knobs, arm rests, leatherette, steering wheels, ect. Nice scent, leave a factory finish and offers a little UV protection too.

There are many products out there that would do the job, depending on your 'beliefs' and market.

I use Meguiar's All-purpose Cleaner D10101, diluted 10:1. Comes only in a gallon size. 10:1 dilution is used for all the interior trims, including leather (not everyone agrees, but I am not the only one using it). At 4:1 I use it to clean the carpets and engine bay. I use it undiluted to clean the tires. Then, protect the interior trims with Carpro PERL at 5:1 dilution.

There are also good dedicated interior cleaners that would leave some protection, such as Carpro Inside. (I use Carpro products a lot because they are based in Korea, but there are also other brands that can deliver the same results)

To answer your question, you can use any interior cleaner to clean the aluminum trim inside.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
This works fine for me

Another thing quite popular amongst detailers for the inside is Surf City Garage "Dash Away". I don't own it myself, but I hear a lot of good about it. personally, I'm still using up my AutoFinesse Spritz, which is completely neutral and doesn't change the look (aka leaves it "matte").

The so called stainless steel is actually brushed aluminium. Be very careful as it is a very soft metal and it scratches and dents easy.
