so I just realized my hood doesn't stay up because I had to take the shocks out as they were bending the CF hood, are there aftermarket hood props or shocks for CF?

yes, if you don't want to use a broomstick then get the lightweight shocks from shark import racing.

To add to this question, as I'm curious too. If adding the lightweight shocks, will that require the use of hood pins still? There is so much debate on whether these pins are needed or not.

there is a sticker on the hood that says to use pins, I haven't put them on though

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I asked and they don't have a part like that

Let us know if you ever run into an issue. I would like to get one of the CF hoods, but I don't really want to deal with the pins, and some users have said that their hood latch gave away from the hood and smashed their roof and/or windshield.

I’d be surprised to find that a CF hood had the same resilience as a steel OEM unit. It’s inherently brittle.

I’m sure slow/casual driving wouldn’t be an issue, but if you plan to drive it at high speeds or with performance in mind it would be foolish to avoid using the pins.
