What brake issues should I expect as I approach 50k miles?

Hello all,

I own a 2019 GT2 with the Brembos. I have had absolutely no issues with the brakes since I bought the car new 5 years ago, but do know that I will likely be looking at replacing the pads soon. Should I expect to replace anything else? Car has 47k and some change.

I am much older, retired, and on a fixed income so I want to be financially prepared for any brake work I may have upcoming. Drove the car hard a few time its first 10k miles (even had a few role ons vs Mustangs/Chargers) but since then drive pretty much like a little old grandma from Pasadena.

BTW, in my younger days I owned an 800 rwhp Porsche GT2, a supercharged M3 and an AMG C63. Coming from those cars I can tell you that the Stinger is a great little car.

I have over 73,000 miles on my 2018 GT1 and have had zero brake issues. The original pads still have c. 6mm at all four corners. That's about where they were last year. I coast to do most of my slowing and try to only use the brakes to stop. Others have replaced their rotors more than once in under 30,000 miles along with pads, going aftermarket, to get rid of / avoid the shuddering of pad deposits on the rotors. It must be the difference in how the brakes are used. The brakes are not defective.

Oh, absolutely mine have had no problem whatsoever. And like you my driving is pretty easy. I just figured that at some point at least the pads will need replacing as the Brembos are a soft compound.
