Was your aim for audio improvement or additional suppression of external noise coming in (e.g. exhaust, tyre, road)? I understand that they are actually technically related. Did it work for you? I have done the spare wheel-battery well and the accessible boot area, with both matting and foam. Wondering if extending the sound proofing to behind boot-trunk interior side panels and under seats would be worth the effort. For audio - I am thinking doing the doors (particularly the front) next, might yield a more noticeable improvement.
Thoughts?
Thanks.

the under rear seat application is much easier than the rear battery / spare area and i would say that it does a good job of reducing outside noise and a great job of increasing the audio quality ...................
