My feelings exactly. I bought one new My23 Stinger GT in Jan 23 and a second in March 23. There are FIVE brand new My23 Stinger GTs left for sale in Australia as of Sept 22. All March 23 build. There does not seem to be a delivery after that. I have owned a lot of new cars and these cars have everything, style, looks, features, power. In one way I would like to see more new ones. On the other hand I have the last ones and they won't depreciate with a newer model. Mixed feelings. A bit like Donald Trump driving your brand new Stinger off a cliff. Yay! F*ck.

I've had my GT since January 2020 and I still tell my wife how much i love the car every time we are in it. Luckily she loves it ALMOST as much as me, always a race to the drivers seat to see who gets to drive lol

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It was designed so well that when my 2018 GT2 (purchased new) was totaled in July of this year...I looked high and low and I couldn't find anything else that checked all my boxes (so ashamed I even looked). In any event, I purchased an off the showroom floor 2023 GT2 at the end of July 2023. Gotta love the Stinger!!

I just looked over a brand new mercedes amg sl63. the owner had 100 miles on the clock. he traded in a 2017 merc for it - because get this, the specialized battery the car requires was going flat and a replacement could not be had until sometime next year. wth?! he was very pleased with his toy, his $185,000 toy. soft top takes a portion of the tiny trunk. the 'mini' seats in the back will take small children maybe. zero to sixty in three is pretty cool, as is 125 mph at the end of the quarter mile. 577 horses and similar torque, well yes who wouldn't want this? but zero practicality. it is a roadster and that is all it can every be.

If you can swing a second car, great, but I'm very content with how much practicality and fun I get out of the Stinger alone.

It's not a dedicated track car, and you can't go rock crawling with it, but a set of taller wheels will get you through most logging roads with your kayak strapped to the roof, and a set of Cup 2's will get you within seconds of most cars on a track day.

Anyone who knows, loves to see it. And anyone who doesn't has to double take when they realize it's a Kia.

Back in 2018, I waa talking with a fellow worker about the Stinger and wanting to get one. 2yrs later I picked up my 2020 GT Ltd for a crazy price. To this day I enjoy looking and driving it. Still gets a double take from people daily.

It's funny... I loved my Stinger when I first got it and was amazed at just how good ( and practical ) it is.

Now a couple of years down the track, I have thought about selling it and just buying something mundane that I won't G.A.S about ( because so many drivers in Sydney Australia are rude, arrogant and downright dangerous and I've nearly been crashed into multiple times ) but I just can't bring myself to let it go. Every time I look at, and drive it I smile.

It really 'is' one hell of a car ( not to mention bang for buck ). Very addictive.

Fast approaching year 3 with 32,500 miles on the ODO with my GT. Other than the trunk rattle [mostly fixed myself], having to do the electrical recall myself, and passenger door window regulator sh|tting the bed requiring me to roll up my sleaves, it's been solid thus far. I'm also running all season 'sport' tires, so there's some fun to be had.

Only gripe is the now slammed dealer network thanks to recalls and other BS they have to tackle unrelated to my vehicle. I had to fix the passenger window issue myself, they couldn't even get me in for 30 days which meant I couldn't take the car anywhere it had to be parked (because, no means of rolling the window up/securing the car). No rental offered. Was told by dealer and KIA customer service they'll take as long as they want to fix it, so f%$# off. No, really. They couldn't get my recall done, seemingly unable to order a part and make a phone call when it arrives, so I did it myself. 20-30 day lead time for an oil change.

So it's my first and (nearly instantly) last Kia, but not because of the pros of the car. Not regretting the purchase, it fills a need for something funnish and practical. Getting it right before the car market madness helps me feel better about the impending "I need this fixed under warranty, I'll get my car back in 13 years from service/when they feel like it" situation. Hoping I'll squeak by without issue, but have zero hope the dealer network or Kia Inc are going to satisfy my warranty needs should they arise. I am, quite literally, keeping a lawyer on speed dial for that day should it arrive.

Summarizes to: Great car, subpar company :/

Sorry to hear about your misfortunes cause I have absolutely not one problem out of my STINGER! And still getting warranty claims complete and my STINGER is a 2018. I think you’re just dealing with a very selfish dealer….GOOD LUCK!

Mind you, I spoke with Kia customer support. This wasn't just the dealer.

I'm a very reasonable person with low expectations, the fact they failed to meet even those lowest expectations earns their further (and ongoing) brand tarnishing by me and countless others.

Exact opposite for me. My local dealer is amazing, and Kia corporate has helped me ehen needed. Hell they got me $750 back on my purchase 12mths after I purchased it.

I totally hear and understand what you’re saying though guess just FOR ONCE I just got lucky and happen to get a “reasonable and understanding person that thought of my needs instead of just the himself or the company
