I'm looking to get 18's for winter but I have been getting a mixed bag of needed dimensions. I'm looking at rims with a center bore of 72.62 and an offset of 40. Will this fit? The dealerships have been less than helpful.

I'm sorry that I don't have an answer for you. However, I do recommend using Tire Rack's site, even if not purchasing. They will give you a list of wheels and tires that will do the job and include all of the dimensions. Good luck!

They may not fit over the BREMBO brakes as many after market wheels will not clear big brake applications because of the basic wheel design (not the offset).

I suggest you have a look at the Fastwheels FC04 model in 18 inch because this will definitely fit over the Brembos.

Otherwise have a look at the many TSW wheel options in 18 inch using the wheel selector for the Stinger GT. Many of these will clear the Brembos. Pick one of the wheels with a 35 or 30 offset.

1. Whatever you buy check the wheels on the front of the car before you have tires fitted because if there is an error you won't be able to return the wheels once the tires have been fitted.

2. The stock Stinger wheels have a center bore of 67.1mm and most of the aftermarket wheels have a significantly larger CB - often around 72.6 or so as does the Fastwheel FC04. When you buy make sure you get the retailer to get you a set of the correct size hub centric rings that fit snugly to the wheel center bore and take it down to the 67.1 mm measurement and thus will center the wheel properly on the hub. If you don't fit the hub centric rings you will get vibrations at speed because the wheel with it's over size center bore for the car will be off center once bolted up.

I am having similar issues with finding the right size 18" winter wheels.
Can anyone say if a +40 offset wheel will work? Or should the wheels have an offset of +30?

I have the Fastco FC04 in +30, and made a number of inquiries looking at the same issue.

Both offsets will work, but going to +40 will move the tire further inside the wheel well (toward the centre of the car). If you want to 'fill out' the wheel arches a little more visually, +30 is what I would recommend. No danger of rubbing on anything, but a better overall appearance IMHO. If the FC04 is something you like, they have them in titanium, black, and bronze, and Fastco has a visualizer on the their site so you can see how they look with your body color. My choice was titanium as I don't like the appearance of a fully blacked out wheel.

And yes, you'll need both the hub centric rings and a full set of tuner lugs to attach them (they come with a wrench adapter).

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Thanks for the info! I am interested in the FC04 in bronze, but for some reason I am only finding the FC04A in bronze, do you know what difference is between the FC04 and the FC04A?

I was told the FC04A required machining, where the FC04 was a bolt on (with the hub adapters). You'll probably want to confirm that with either Fastco or your supplier before ordering.
