Can’t wait for the stinger brochure for the us to come out so u can see if the red Napa is available in the red Stinger.
What did you think? How does the leather feel? Is everything laid out well? Can you compare the switch gear to other luxury manufacturers?Sat in the GT yesterday for an hour at the dealer but without starting it up.
I compared the feel of the Red Napa to my wife’s 2014 Acura MDX with the upgraded leather and it felt either the same or even better. The knobs, the air vents, the cup holders cover all felt like a really expensive luxury car. I was so pleased with it. The stereo sounded fantastic. The car drive mode system and electronics were sweet. Even the headliner was really nice Swade feel. Very impressive car for not driving it yet.!What did you think? How does the leather feel? Thank you very much. This car is going to be amazing. The K900 didn't do it, the Cadenza didn't do it - even the Optima somehow didn't do it (as much as I like it) but I think the Stinger is going to open the eyes of a great many people to realize that Kia can make pretty much any car it wants...I compared the feel of the Red Napa to my wife’s 2014 Acura MDX with the upgraded leather and it felt either the same or even better. I would have to feel the switch gear to offer an opinion but I'm with you where I'm not THAT picky that the switch gear needs to feel luxurious. However, it's all part of the luxury experience that people expect in certain price classes. Cheap feeling switch gear wouldn't be a deal breaker for me but I can understand how it's important for some people..."Welcome to the party, pal!"
If you don't know what that quote is from, shame on you!I recommend an 8 hour binge watch of the Die Hard series. At least the first one.
Yeah, I got to sit in one a couple of weekends ago and it was sweet! I didn't get to sit in it long (time constraints as I got there just as they were closing) but It was nice. This brings up something I read (here, or another site, I forget) that someone said the 'buttons don't feel luxurious'. How do buttons feel luxurious? I don't know! Push the button and if it does something luxurious, that another car doesn't have? That feels luxurious to me. LOL
