Just wanted to let everyone know I sold my Stinger ...........I've been a member here from early days when there were only a few hundred members signed up , In fact , I had the 1st Stinger delivered in North America , I came out of a miserable relationship with BMWs and swore I would never drive another one when I purchased my Stinger . Its been one of the most enjoyable vehicle ownership and driving experiences ever ! Along the way I spent waaaay too much time on the Forum learning and helping others get the most from the Stinger Experience . Special congratulations to Sal and his team maintaining high standards and knowing when to reign in on topics that became a tad too "enthusiastic " I took a few pokes in the nose along the way and handed out as many , all in good fun and in the spirit of the Stinger ! There is a wonderful foundation of great , enthusiastic members here , some almost feel like family . In all my years of participating in Auto forums the Stingerforum is hands down the Best ! Too many wankers and posers on the German forums !

After I got my Audi SQ8 in April my wife drove the Stinger and loved it . My son sold his RS5 in June and "borrowed " the Stinger for the last 3 months and absolutely loved it , comparing it very favorably to his previous car ( at twice the price ! )

The World is getting stranger and we have made some adjustments to our lifes to take advantage of some potential outfall . Spending extended periods away from Canada in the foreseeable future kind of dictated not needing 2 cars so hence my little announcement here tonite .

I've thoroughly enjoyed my time on this Forum and while I'm not signing off ,I wont be here as often ( I can hear some applause ! Bawaaaaa )

Take care everyone , all the Best , Its been great being part of the Stinger Family and helping launch the future of Kia !

Many Cheers Adios !!

Keith

Well, bye. ;)

Are you going to update your sig?

Check back once in a while, especially if you have any Stinger anecdotes/sightings that pick your interest. Fare thee well.

Hello and good bye my fellow Vancouverite. Did you end up selling your Stinger privately? The 2022 Audi SQ8 is one of the best looking SUV's in the market right now imo. One of my dream family car.

Best of luck to you!

I bet he does, it's pretty much a budget Lamborghini Urus.

Thank you very much for the kind words and for helping to build this community into what it has become. Yes, you were here pretty much from the very beginning - and I'm really glad you found us. I do hope you'll pop in every now and then to talk cars and whatever else may be entertaining at the time. :)

Happy trails! I've enjoyed "knowing" you here, and look forward to you occasional posts in future.

Hey Keith- My apologies for the late reply. I haven’t signed on in a while, but checking on your status was the first thing I did upon signing in this evening. It was a pleasure having you as a “Stinger buddy,” and I wish you and your family the best in the coming new year. I’ll keep you on my list, and hope to share. message or two in the possible future.
Best Regards,
Anthony

You welcomed me with open arms, you inspired me beyond imagination, you helped me when help was needed and most importantly you became a friend whose friendship I will cherish for the rest of my days. You are a special person Keith and a top notch “Stinger Winger” thank you for all you have done for me. You will be missed on these pages. Bwaahahaha! Cheers, B

And now the end is here
And so I face that final curtain
My friend I'll make it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more
I did it, I did it my way
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again too few to mention
I did what I had to do
I saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much, much more
I did it, I did it my way
Yes, there were times I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself then he has naught
Not to say the things that he truly feels
And not the words of someone who kneels
Let the record shows I took all the blows and did it my way.

****lol, Stinger sold pick up her replacement Toosday. I've gone over to the other side, got a good price on a MY19 Bullitt Mustang. Snap decision so grabbed it with both hands.

Early days of the forum were a real hoot with plenty of action and info. Got into the 2019 calendar, were there when the squables and laughs were to be had. Wouldn't have changed anything, some real characters on here. Saw the rise and fall of the mighty Merlin to.

I'll still lurk and add to my 7th position of all time posts and I'll let the door hit me on the way out.

Those were the days. But this forum could turn into a vintage Stinger enthusiasts' forum and have interesting days ahead. Probably not, though. A Bullitt Mustang, that's pretty cool. A friend of mine has one of those.

The Stinger has a strong enthusiast following - so I'm confident this community will be at least fairly busy for years to come...

Plus, I'm almost ready to launch a new endeavor that's going to wake up the automobile enthusiast community everywhere...
