Went to check out the new KIA Stinger...

I went to my local KIA dealer to check out the new Stinger and liked what I saw until I looked at the sticker and saw A.M.V. $10,000. There is no way I'm going to pay a $10,000 markup on a KIA so I walked out. If they can get suckers to pay that then more power to them, the free market at work. The appeal of the Stinger is class-equivalent or even class-leading performance but at a significantly lower price. The Stinger is not nearly as appealing when it is in the same price range as Audi. BMW, Infiniti, etc. Looks like I'll be taking a harder look at the new Buick Regal GS or even a new Honda Accord Sport 2.0t.

You went to the WRONG dealer, @AlanHarmon688. If you are really in Vietnam you may be limited in your choice of dealers, but shop around. No one pays over MSRP for cars these days.....any car. That's what the MSRP is for -- Kia's starting point going down, not up.

I don't think i'd pay a $10k markup on any vehicle that doesn't start with "M"...a lot of folks on this forum got upwards of 5-7k off sticker.
