So i got my 2019 stinger used about 5 days ago had 50k miles on it and as of 2 days ago the downshifts have been really hard in every driving mode only when slowing down slowly if i stop rather fast it doesn't seem to jerk that much been coasting to a stop its extremely noticeable,What should i do about this i saw that it learns from how you drive and well i just got a new stinger ofc im gonna drive it pretty fast first few days maybe the system learned and just assumes im a a**hole driver now lol. It is under warranty im gonna have them check it out on Wednesday what should i tell them?

Low transmission fluid?

Low transmission fluid?
No clue I’m gonna take it up to the dealer to take a look at it seems like it kinda is just getting worse more and more I drive hope it is just fluid or needs reset would suck for a major problem to be there since I just got the car

There's a couple threads about this.

The car bangs gears in sport mode. I like to feel the car.. and i downshift with the shift levers so maybe i hid this problem from myself?

The other threads (as far as i read at the time) lead to the assumption that some drivers want smooth smooth and the stinger is not smooth smooth all the time.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Those linked threads probably talk about this (but I'm not going to return to find out): there is a "reflash" of the trans logic that can be performed. Also, a sequence in shifting that can be followed manually to reset the trans logic (probably the same thing in the end). This is a common, albeit, not frequent issue. Welcome to the forum.

If you are talking about downshifting jerks in the lower gears (3-2-1) as you come to a stop, it's normal. You'll just have to learn how to feather your brake and anticipate it.
