3.3TT Weird Ignition Coils Received

Ordered six new ignition coils with the new design since I’m replacing all my spark plugs at 50K and all the angled ones I received from rockauto are open box with the sides dremeled down.. one even had it on the rubber portion.

Tempted to just get the pack of six from Lap3 and return these. Any one else ran into this? They are all HL Mando “OEM” with three angled and three straight. Something feels off with half of this shipment when they’re $47 each.

Got mine from lap3, they came in 6 brown boxes, look similar though, can post detailed photos tomorrow if you want

All good, I already installed these since the Hyundai/Kia branded ones on Amazon were going to take a month to ship. Car runs and idles better with the new spark plugs and these "OEM" ignition coils. Just weird they scratched off the branding and serials.

They have to remove the Kia logos before selling them to the aftermarket.

I am wondering if the passenger side coil can be used on the driver side. The only difference I can see is the wired plug is at 45” degrees angle on the driver side versus straight on the passenger side.

Doesn't matter, easier to have the flat on the passenger side

I had the same thing. Came in the correct box but all #'s scratched off....from Rock Auto
