Water/Fluid Sloshing Noise

Had the same sound after the recall was done. Checked my Coolant reservoir and it was empty. Took it back to the dealership and they topped up the Coolant.

Tech said the sloshing sounds are likely air in the coolant system, and that its hard to fill up the system properly.

KIA needs to get their techs trained to properly fill the coolant system after the recall.

Did the air work its way out without them fixing anything?

They topped it off for sure, not sure if they did anything else, as I had them do an oil change at the same time and they had it for a few hours. They did do a 10km test drive.

Seems to be ok now.

Hard to believe the morons working at kia dealerships haven't learned to properly bleed a cooling system!!

I also had the same familiar sound after my recall was done. I've experienced this in the past with my Stinger so I knew what to do by burping the system and adding more coolant. It's very frustrating though that these techs are so incompetent they cannot perform a basic task.
