Wasn't going to.....

Hahahaha.

I'm having a little fun with this car. It's been a long time since I've got to customize a little.

Tint and wheels transform a car IMO.
Thinking about wheels but I think I am going to stay with stock size. I live in the NE and we get some serious potholes. Was thinking going with black ones, or even have the stock ones powder coated.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
powder coat the oem wheels and the car is transformed. I've never seen pictures of the base-premium trim wheels glossed black before but I think they would look a lot better than the alloy face finish. and the price is right in other words a lot cheaper than new wheels.

Calling a guy tomorrow. My buddy has a tire machine at his house.

I changed "TO" after market wheels and tires for that reason ! ( and others ).
By fitting the following, I dropped a lot of un-sprung weight, improved my ride quality and the car's overall looks.
Forged alloys in (F) 19x8.5 with 245/40/19 tires and (R) 19x9.5 with 275/35/19 tires.

HIGHLY recommend it.

I would love to go to a 19 but here in Upstate New York we have potholes that will swallow your car. Where do you live?

I live in Sydney Australia.
If you're on 18's now, then go to a lighter and stronger 18" wheel with a taller profile tire or just go to a set of taller profile tires at least. That should help minimise the damage.

I lived in upstate until a few years ago (east of Albany). During the winter into early spring before they patch them all it's rough. If I had the Stinger then, I'd probably get a set of winter rims/tires and swap to a summer rim/tire setup from mid May - early Oct.

This would give you confidence in both weather extremes and last several years.

My strategy ended up being to just stay home during the worse weather, which was happening less often than decades prior. But different parts of 'upstate' are worse than others, and some people can't just stay home/have an 'essential' job. This meant I could get away with all seasons.

Called a guy yesterday. $600 to do them. Just need to figure out logistics and how long it will take. My buddy has a tire machine so that helps a bunch.

that seems like a consistent price for powder coating, it's what I paid. what is a 'tire machine?'

The machine to mount and dismount tires.

Added this too.

I knew that would feel like a dumb question to ask, but 'tire machine' did not signify. thanks for the answer.
