I have a 2018 stinger gt2 awd. The Rotors are warped at 24,000 miles and the dealer said too bad let’s replace the desks pads and her turn the rotors. So we did and 7000 miles later they’re warped again. The dealer wanted to know if I was driving the car hard. Which I thought that’s what the car was built for and no I wasn’t driving it very hard. I owned a Corvette and put 90,000 miles on it and drove it very hard and never had trouble with rotors warping. So the solution I have is I put slotted and drilled brake rotors on and new pads and now we will see how many miles I get on it. By the way I went to her performance brakes and was able to order new rotors and pads for $200 for the front. What a deal. And I think this will take care of the overheating issue on the rotors.

First let me say Welcome to the forum. Second, you may find most of your answer to this common question here:

This appears to be a common issue on these vehicles, but if you read the opening thread it will give you a good history on this situation.

As long as you don’t use Kia brake pads.

Howdy. Not warped rotors, OE US spec pads. It's all there in that conversation @jalcala posted. You'll sort this out. Most Stingers don't do this. Mine, for instance, has over 38K miles and never a hint of brake roughness or noise.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Mine did this one day after the track. Several hard brakes to make the turn around. This was before I even knew about that thread. It works.... It went away and hasn't come back.
