So some jerk gouged my paint to the black plastic. I tried touch up factory paint from Kia and special order spray can paint from PaintScratch and both appeared darker than the factory paint. Does anyone know a vinyl color to perfectly match the factory paint?

I'm in the same boat but with blue, passenger rear quarter two scratches right to the black plastic. $500 deductable to get it fixed through insurance. Bye-bye sway bars.

I would like to put some fancy vinyl on my red gt, like going from one color to another back to front (but not with black)
or something more special red-ish or purple, but dang its pricey in sweden what i have seen is atleast $3000-$4500.

And this would be a more attractive option than black vinyl for when the dark chrome trim gets damaged or irreparably stained (as some posters have pointed out). Vinyl dark chrome would restore the pristine look without having to replace the pieces (a hideously expensive choice).
So, does anybody know if "dark chrome" comes in vinyl?

I don't think you will ever find a wrap color that matches an actual body color (red, blue, etc) close enough to not be noticeable. Even buying the same wrap color from one production batch to another will often be noticeably different. You can get small swatch samples for $1 each, but if you aren't wrapping the entire vehicle, I don't think it will turn out well.
