ventilation coming on by itself

I was wondering if anybody has encountered the issue where the ventilation comes on by itself? I am not talking about the smart ventilation, but rather that after driving the car for a few minutes, the ventilation will start sending the air into the cabin at the roughly the same temperature that the setting was on the last time it was actually turned on. the only way to get this to stop (temporarily) is to switch from whatever mode it was on, i.e. re-circulation to fresh air or vice versa. this works for a few minutes and then the ventilation comes back on again, so I have to keep doing the same trick again and and again. meanwhile, the system is turned OFF and the display shows it as being off.

just had it at the dealership and they claim nothing is wrong... i have the 2018 GT2.

I have a 2020 GT1 and even with the smart ventilation system off after 5 minutes in the recirculation option the fresh air option comes on by itself.

That's probably my biggest issue so far with the stinger. Haven't figured out how to fix this.

With these settings, my recirculate stays put unless the sunroof gets open.

Was having the same issue. Was going to shut off the auto fog and see if that stops it

I thought it worked, but I washed my car and five minutes later the fresh air button lit up from the recirculation button being pressed.
The car from what I am reading from other forums seems to have a mind of its own even with the Smart Ventilation option turned off.
Someone said it will go to its fresh air option to allow the driver more oxygen; sounds lame, but makes sense.

So I’m just trying to figure what exactly the the Smart Ventilation option does, or does not do then.
Shutting the vents is too much work for me, but what is work for me would be adjusting the temps.
I like to keep my air flow on face and feet, so on a cold day the heat would still come in be annoying.

Only need to turn the little dials on the front middle 3. If you like the flow on your face and feet it shouldn’t be an issue for you. I don’t like the flow on my face

I tried that yesterday, and I am just wondering if my GT1 is just not equipped with that feature since I could not get it to work.

I answer the phone in my stinger while it’s plugged in, talk for thirty/forty seconds annnnnd FULL FAN SPEED ENGAGE. Every time
