Ultimate Performance is really excited to present their newest edition front mount intercooler for the Kia Stinger 3.3T
Equipped with the Garrett Turbo Intercooler Core this FMIC will lower intake charge temps by 70 degrees and reduce your quarter mile times by up to 7 tenths
Now includes an optional upgraded 3" aluminum cold side charge pipe for increased airflow

Noticeable throttle response increase across the whole power band

Specifications:
100% tig welded

2.5" inlet/ 3" outlet
24" X 8" X 3.5" core
100% handmade in the USA
6061 Aircraft aluminum end tanks
Fits in the factory location with no cutting required

Well, if you're going to list it as well, I'll ask you, as well. Where is any documentation that confirms the drop in temps and drop in quarter times? Nobody seems willing to answer me so far.

Not sure who else you are referring to, but this is a brand new product that was just released very recently.

The manufacturer has confirmed with us that they will have the dyno sheets available for us sometime this week.

You most likely have not gotten an answer from anyone else so far, as they don't have the answer to provide.

I've used the Contact Us form on their website as well as a similar form on another site that offers the product. The latter answered, but it was unintelligible. I've not heard from them since I replied. I'm very happy to wait for any documentation.

I thought based on your response that you meant someone else listed this on the forum here.

Don't worry, as soon as I have info to post, I will share it here with the community, and on our site.

I don't see any wild claims being made at all. Please allow us to share the dyno results from the manufacturer in the forum thread before having doubts and skepticism. Many smaller companies are working to develop new parts for these vehicles, and it can sometimes a little more time to get the dyno graphs and results posted up.
 
I don't think 9 HP and 11 TQ is going to get you a .7 second drop in the quarter mile.

Either A) that .7 claim is based off hot lapping the car 4-5 times and getting a time that is .7 lower on run 5 than the first run and then doing the same thing with the intercooler and not seeing the drop. Aka you’ll gain .7 when the car is heatsoaked.

B) Includes the Chip they show in the dyno

or C) they ran the car at the track and the intercooler wasn’t the only thing that changed (weather, driver, LC, etc.)

$105 per 1hp...I can think of better ways to get a true .7 off my time for that amount.
 
Intercoolers aren’t as much about gaining HP as they are keeping HP when the car engine gets heat soaked.
While that is true and I understand the purpose...I can think of other items to get to see performance gains even in a heat soaked period for less than $1000 intercooler.
 
Guys keep in mind this is brand new to the community, and we are still collecting hard data from Ultimate Performance as it becomes available. I'd encourage most skeptics to wait and see others in the community that buy this see the direct results. We've sold a few of these already so I'm sure customer feedback will be coming soon!

We can all speculate but let's test it out and see? It would be really bold of a company to make up numbers for a new product especially when they are one of the first and know that all eyes are on them being that it's also for a brand new platform (when scrutiny is at it's highest).
$105 per 1hp...I can think of better ways to get a true .7 off my time for that amount.
Keep in mind this is on a stock motor, an upgraded intercooler is a great accessory part when adding other mods and a tune which a stock IC can bottleneck these increased performance aspects if not upgraded.

Keep in mind this is on a stock motor, an upgraded intercooler is a great accessory part when adding other mods and a tune which a stock IC can bottleneck these increased performance aspects if not upgraded.
The 10 peak HP gain isn't alot but look at the 20-30 HP increase above 5500 RPM. If you add intakes exhaust ecu tune this high RPM gain will only increase.
