Hi, I have looked all over for this, and most times I only find info for the 3.3. I know you can spray it at the big tube right before the TB, but I have heard from some that is a bad spot because of pooling and because of the MAS. CRC mentions using a vacuum line, but I have no idea which one. I know it needs to go into the intake manifold somehow. Has anyone done this on a 2.0? Any pics of what line to use?

Thanks!

I just looked again, and I do not think the 3.3 vid locations would work at all, especially given the air tubing is different. On the 2.0, there is the spot right after the air intake, but that is pre-turbo and I do not want to do it there. None of the other areas are that accessible. I THINK I found the brake booster vac line, back on firewall, driver's side, about 6 to 8 inches behind the dipstick? Has anyone else done this on a 2.0?

Thanks

So no replies, either not interested or noone has done it on the 2.0. So I did it, used the below line. Figured I would take and share pics to help someone in the future.

Forgot to mention...this is the brake booster line. So it will make some noises as it tries to re-engage, and also your brake light will appear on the dash, like the e-brake is on. When I finished, I pushed the button for the e-brake down for 2 seconds and the light went away (again, after everything was put back together, I had turned the car on and off, etc).

Thank you! I’ve been looking for this content! How did it go for you after you finished?

Perfectly fine. I ran it through, got all the smoking from the exhaust as I did it, etc. No idea if it actually helps/does anything. Just know it is recommended to clean it out now and then.
