Has anyone used the app?
What are your experiences?

Yep.. It's a little slow(takes about a minute to send the start commands) but other than that it's great.. I like being able to set 'favorites' one for winter and one for summer

It's useless in the US. Canada I think has some extra features.

YES utterly completely profoundly a POS and waste in the US.....but the doomed K900 has a way nicer app. Hmmm why not put more resources towards a failing product....I'm sure that remote start by app on the K900 will surely sway buyers to buy it!

Not a fan of the UVO . After I downloaded the app and saw what it could do I don't think I'll ever run with it on , too much information going straight to Kia real time . How long before Kia or any other car manufacture with the same kind of device has to let the insurance companies tie into the system .
Long story not so long maybe. We had a 2015 genesis with the app not a daily driver weekends , and vacations told insurance company maybe 6000 miles a year after the first year we put on 8000 miles. When it was time to renew the insurance they jacked our insurance up . I asked the agent how they knew , Oil change at the dealership or any fast lube service. They're all tied into the same system like Carfax , all they need is your Vin number.
Well whith that little being said you could use your imagination for what else theay can do with real time . They're hiding it back in the shadows but every once in a while you'll see or hear the state or the feds wanting to have a mileage tax. The days of POV roaming the planet freely I feel are numbered, so just get out there drive and enjoy the scenery . God Bless

The Uvo system in My Stinger in Arizona looks nice, but the remote start would be nice, why dont we have it? The rest of the app. does not do me any good unless I crash, then it will make the call for me to 911. Unless of course I am connected to Google or Apple that seems to override it. Freaken love the car.

Absolutely worthless...

In canada its good, we can start our cars from anywhere.. its a little slow , but its better than nothing.. i like being able to satrt it on hole 18, with the climate on for ac and seats ventilating.. then when i get there everything is comfy.

Absolute waist that kia excluded the uvo remote start from such a high end car! Hell, the 2013 Hyundai sonata has uvo with remote start. My 16 titan xd came factory with remote start and nissan connect remote start. Same with the 360 camera. That should be standard on the gt2 minimum! Epic fails for kia! Love the car but very Dissappointed that those features were left out and given to Canada standard...

Seats ventilated? Not with mine. I have the GT limited and all you can set is the interior temperature, heated steering wheel and defrost for windows

According to Micah at kia n.a., the uvo does not have a separate 4g hotspot installed in the u.s., as of this time. It might in the upcoming models. So, unless you have your phone attached, the uvo will only work with whatever you uploaded to it. And yes, it is basically useless as is.

Mine does not have that feature either, the buttons showed up for a bit in UVO, but were disabled, then disappeared after a couple of weeks. Got it in a photo and sent it to the dealer, they went it to the regional office and they were confused.
