I have a 32GB drive i've been using for a number of years. Past cars would play folders based on date. That is, folder with oldest date is at the top of the list, newest date at the bottom. On the '22, it seems to have it in alphabetical order. I can't find an option to change that... Is there a way?

I thought alphabetical order was default: folders on my USB are all in alphabetical order, and that is how they are stored on my 'puter; and that is how the car displays them.

My windows default is newest at the top. I poked around the uvo menus but couldn't find a sort order.

I suppose it's not the end of the world. I can go through the folders and append a YYYYMMDD to the beginning...

That should cause it to sort from lowest to highest.

All my cars have been alphabetical, either by song, file or artist, and I've usually been able to sort by either. I almost always set to random file/song, unless I want to hear something specific.

The default in the car is alphabetical, and there's no options to change the sort. The best they provide is the file list, which shows the folders (and songs inside the folders) in alphanumeric order. The lack of playlist functionality is an annoyance, I listen to albums from beginning to end and playlists (m3u files) are the best way to manage this. The folder list is only okay.
