US Stinger... black trim vs dark chrome?

It looks as though there may be black trim available for the US market instead of Dark chrome. I saw these pics dated 11/15/17 and wanted to get your thoughts.

I'm on my phone right now so I'll get a better look when I get to a desktop. But I think it depends on body color. To me, anyway. Black chrome looks like gunmetal, right?

Well, it looks like the pics in my OP were darkened through a photo editor because I ran them through my Photoshop and by lightening the shadows the dark chrome comes out.

I was kind of hoping for the black trim option like the SEMA Federation.

I think it depends on body color too, and on personal preference. To me, even though I'd prefer the black trim with the yellow color, it would depend on how well it would stay black. Wax always seems to run over onto the black trim and make it look dull or greyish...whereas it doesn't seem to dull the black chrome. So, that is the only reason I would select the black chrome.

I would probably opt for black chrome as I'm not a big fan of matte finishes. If the black wasn't matte - I'd really need to see both to make a decision...

i believe black chrome trim is on v6 models and Piano black b pillars is on GT2 in addition to the black chrome surround. 2.0 gets chrome window surround and door handle trim
