Nice. Looks good. Like you said, some cable management and it'll be good to go. I'm not sure the lines on that AIO cooler are long enough for it, but the hoses should really be on the "bottom" of the radiator, not the top. Over time, liquid in the loop is lost to various reasons I don't fully understand since I'm not a physicist, and it can start sucking in air from the top of the radiator.

I built my first AMD rig in YEARS back in 2018 and I've been very happy with the Ryzen stuff.

Yeah I flipped the radiator. It was from my old rig which used a 240mm top mounted. I have a 360mm on the way that be replacing it.

That is a really nice setup! Personally I don't care for the RGB lights and turn off any of it where I can. I'm not a gamer, my build is for my photography and video work and don't see the need for it. I'm old school and when I used to game on PCs, there was no glass side panel to see inside the box. The RYZEN processors have really come into their own these last 2 years and I'm curious to see what the 4000 series bring. My Threadripper 2950X with Radeon VII is pretty good when doing video editing on DaVinci Resolve. With your dual 2080Ti, that system should be pretty darn good for video editing as well, with that 3950X processor.

I got the F version of that ASUS board with a 3800X and 5700XT, the system feels snappier that the TR system and file transfer is faster, that PCIE 4.0 bus makes quick work of that. I was hoping they would have a new x399 board for the TR system with PCIE 4 but they changed things over the a new platform, so I'm holding on to it for a bit longer or selling it if the 4000 series has something equal or better to the 3950X for a reasonable price. I paid less for my TR 2950X than what the 3950X costs, if it's price drop to $500, I'll probably get one to pop in the ASUS board and move my Radeon VII over to it. I doubt they will release a GPU on the consumer side like this at a reasonably price, if their newest offering beast NVIDIA's upcoming top tier GPU.
 
Very nice machine! That case looks like it'll be a bitch for cable management though, so good luck! Lol. I'm liking the RGB, but I personally prefer to pair RGB with a really tinted case window, gives it that kinda glow effect. I'd be worried that such an open clear case would be too bright, and the RGB too focused instead of diffused. Would also drive me nuts because I could see every speck of dust as it landed. :p

I need to replace my current one in the not too distant future though, still running an i7 4930k, but card is a newer 1080ti. Maybe one day, when I'm not worried about losing my job every time there's an office meeting. Lol.

Still not sold on AMD though. Their price/performance is great, but I've built dozens of computers for other people in the last few years, and the only one I've had issues with was a full AMD 5700xt/3700x which crashed in any game after 30 mins if you ran 144hz on dual screens. Not PSU (swapped in known good part), and not heat. Probably just the GPU, but I'll be steering away from their CPU's as well, for now.
 
In the early days after the CPU and GPUs were released, I picked up the 5700XT and it crashed a few times in the Threadripper system but didn’t have any issues when I placed it in the X570 board. I’ve read about and saw a number of videos on issues for the 5700XT. I tried a clean install on the TR system but still issues, none with the X570 though.

The TR system came into its own when paired with the Vega VII GPU, the 16GB seems to be better suited for that system and 4K videos. Render times are really fast with that setup. Tried it on the x570 system and it’s triple the time or more. The CPU render in the TR is a couple of minutes behind the GPU. If the GPU did 8 minutes, the CPU did it @ 10-11 minutes. I tested the x570 setup with a 8 minute 4K video with stabilization, it took 40 minutes for the 3800XT and 35 with the 5700XT and Vega 64 installed. With the 5700XT on its own it would crash, it was maxing out the GPU memory and internal memory.In addition, I also bumped the CPU to 4.35 GHz. Taking it back to stock, is when it took the time provided but it used up almost all the memory on both GPU and about the same on the internal memory.

I’ll be playing with it some more to see where the issue lies.
