Hey,

Just wanted to know if there is a proper procedure to removing the JB4 unit before I bring my vehicle in.

I'm assuming:

set it to Map 0 - Turn off the car (duh) - Walk away for 5 minutes - Disconnect wiring

Should I be concerned driving several days on 2 step cold plugs (HKS MIL45) gapped at 0.022?

Thanks for your time in reading and responding!

Just lock doors and open hood, wait 5 min, and pop it off. No issue with plugs on factory tuning.

Set it to MAP 0, shut car off and disconnect. I had driven mine at least a day without it before taking to dealer. May not be necessary but did it anyway.

Is it just 1 wire that needs to be disconnected?
If you want to remove it completely from the car, there are a couple wiring harnesses that you need to disconnect, and reconnect back in the stock configuration (the JB4 plugs in between a couple sensors). Also, if you used the fuel wires, you would have been best off to have gotten the optional Plug-n-Play fuel harnesses so those remove without a trace also. The OBD-2 wire can usually be left, just disconnect it from the OBD port under the dash and hide it up out of the way.
