Unable to make a detailed post.

Does anyone know what the waiting period for making a post that includes hyperlinks and stuff along that nature. I have drafted a post and very eager to see what the forum has to say however I receive an error message that does not allow me to create the post.

Sorry! Your content can not be submitted at this time. A security feature prohibits new members from posting images/links. Nobody likes this, including myself, but it's a necessary evil as people sign up and share links to malicious websites and/or post offensive/inappropriate images. The restriction will automatically be lifted - just give it some time. Thank you...​

I think it's 10 posts, and/or a week or two. Maybe slip the admin a 20 spot. Don't recall, it's not forever though.

There is no set amount of posts or time to be automatically upgraded to have the ability to post links, images and start conversations. It's an algorithm based on several variables. As mentioned in the error message, it's a security feature to prevent people from signing up and posting links to malicious websites before anyone can report them and have them taken down. It's also to prevent some pretty ridiculous images that were getting posted when we first started. Everyone who signs up goes through this process. If you're planning on staying to participate in the community, do just that and before you know it, you'll have the ability to post links.

My mistake! Just got a 22 Stinger GT1 about a month ago! I suppose I’ll make a little intro post while I wait on the restrictions to clear.
