I seem to recall my Optimas had a way to adjust these things, but I don't find them on the Stinger:

1. The telephone ring tone (and its volume). I recall my Optima allowed me to use the cellphone's own ring tone instead of the loud and alarming "tune" built into the Stinger. And I could adjust the volume of it by using the radio volume knob. the Stinger?

2. The sensitivity of the automatic headlights. I believe the Optima allowed me to adjust how sensitive they were, so going under underpasses, etc., didn't trigger the headlights. Can't find that on the Stinger. Is it non-adjustable?

Sorry if I've missed these things somewhere, but if you can guide me I'll appreciate it.

1. If I remember correctly the Optima also had more than one ringtone option. I haven't seen an option to do anything with the Stinger's tone.
2. I don't recall having an option to adjust the Optima's headlight sensitivity but I do think it needs to be changed on new Stingers. It is too sensitive.

Yeah, I thought I recalled that the auto headlight sensitivity could be adjusted between Low, Medium and High. But frankly, I've had so many different cars in the last few years that I might be remembering wrong. But I do agree the Stinger is pretty sensitive.

I thought the light sensitivity was linked to the auto wiper sensitive toggle. VW has it this way doesn’t it...?
