This morning, my 2019 GT2 showed low tire pressure. Right front tire was psi 31, others were 32-33. I filled up with air and on the drive back, the numbers changed but the TPMS warning sign has stayed on. How do I reset it?

Get it to over 40 psi. That will reset the system. Than you deflate to desired psi.

My last experience with the low psi warning was when the cold tire indicated 28 psi. At 29 psi it had not given a low warning. Ima thinking this point when the warning is triggered is variable between individual vehicles. Anyway, I inflated to c. 40 psi and the warning went away. Back then I was inflating to 40 psi at all four corners. Now I try to keep the psi at door card spec, just because.

I think you will find that tyres are inflated to 40 psi at factory

As mentioned at 28psi or thereabouts the tyre pressure warning will activate which is 20% below the original tyre pressure.

Re inflate to 40. Drive for 10 minutes at normal road speed until the TPI re calibrates.

Reset the tyre pressures according to the decal on your door but they should NEVER be below 38psi.

Except the door card on a AWD GT says 38 psi front 36 psi rear. On the Premium AWD the door card says 36 psi front 39 psi rear. Who knows why.

As for factory psi, haven't you read on the forum the numerous anecdotes of brand new Stingers driven away with over 50 psi? I am one of those - didn't notice anything for TWO WEEKS, then I asked my sales guy why the high psi, and he said that was above his pay grade. Fact is, vehicle prep to give to the buyer is supposed to check psi and adjust accordingly, a thing often overlooked.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I just refitted NEW sensors and new tyres to aftermarket rims and i only have 36psi all round and no light or codes since driving away from the tyre shop ?

In fact when cold, the system indicates only 34psi

And no alert...

No.

Both my Stingers were set to 40psi new. Thats what tyre resellers set them to as well.

They are now set to the door placard which I think is 36 front 38 rear as per Australia. There are no AWD here which is probably why it is reversed there for the front. Always been lower on the front all cars here since year dot

Correct.

You have re calibrated them to 36psi. When they get get below 20% of that, 28 or so, the alarm should go off.

That should indicate 1. You are too lazy to check the tyres . 2. You have a puncture....
