Hello, has anyone had a problem with the turbocharger?


I get an error: (errors detected in ASO)


1. Turbocharger boost control position
"B" on high limit
2. Steering position sensor circuit
turbocharger "B"


After the light comes on, the car noticeably slows down. switching between sport and comfort makes no difference.
I bought obd from Allegro for PLN 40, it detects 2 errors:


P2586
Turbocharger (TC) boost control position sensor B - circuit malfunction


P25A1
Turbocharger (TC) B, boost pressure control - higher limit reached


If I manage to delete it, the car runs normally and has the power as before, but after the third start of the car the error appears again


did anyone have such symptoms, the dealership said it was a lot of work, the engine had to be removed and it cost a lot.

at the Kia service center they said that the cause was the turbocharger actuator and asked if I had spilled anything, I was actually leaking coolant because the clamp broke and it was dripping onto the turbocharger from the driver's side. They estimated the repair at over PLN 4,000 because they had to remove the air conditioning compressor to get there.

I took the car to the service center on April 8, 2024, and on April 17, I received a call from them that they would remove the air conditioning compressor on April 23, and whether I would agree to the cost of PLN 4,200, but it was no longer a repair because they didn't know yet whether it was really what they thought.
