Nice another Stinger testing hybrid turbos and hope they can break into the 10s. Wonder what ECU tune they will be using to take advantage of the extra power & boost.
Our engine was built with forged rods and the torque capacity of our transmission was conservatively rated by Kia to 1000nm/740ftlbs.
So we haven’t even scratched the surface of our limits yet and probably can do 700-800whp before the stock Internals are pushed too hard.
It will be interesting to see how long they last - with some forged internals and a gearbox apparently designed for 1000Nm, there's a lot of headroom left in these engines/drivetrains...
