I’m about to order a 2022 GT2 Scorpion and recently discovered some of y’all tune these things. I’m not 21 and have no interest in horrifically loud exhaust and LED lights under the car, but can anyone point me in the direction of Tuning For Dummies/Beginners? I don’t think I’ll be racing, but I do like fast cars. I’ve read about JB4, sway bars, etc. but really don’t know where to start, what to get, what voids the warranty, does it cause premature engine damage, horrible mileage, etc?

More power= lower gas mileage.. possibly more wear and tear. The stinger stock has some body roll so sway bara are a great start. Stock is boring, play with the thing

Depends on your interests. Many do sway bars and intakes. Those are unlikely to void all / major parts of your warranty. Some dealers will even install sways.

Jb4 may void warranty, depending on what goes wrong, and if the dealer sees it.

Downpipes, ecu tune, etc are definite warranty / smog issues, I would say.

Would a Kia dealer install sway bars, intakes, etc? Or do you need to find a private shop to do that? I live in an apartment so doing it myself is off the table.

You could do it in a parking lot, quite simple..but I don't think is take it to a kua dealership to do it.. find a private shop is self installation is out of the question

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Hey bgstewar,

Modifications are really dependent on the application in which you need them. If you are purely looking for performance without having an overly loud car, we carry plenty of parts that will help you get there. Such as the Jb4, Ultimate Performance Downpipes, Air Intakes, and more. I would be glad to help put together a package discount for you if you send me a message or reach out in an email to Sales@K8StingerStore.com.

Find a private shop.
