So I have a 2020 GT RWD and recently the piece I have circled (the pointy part) is coming off. Does anyone know if they used glue, tape or whatever. Or if it’s under warranty to get fixed ? The only kia service part near me is booked till next October ! I have two 12s in my trunk and ever since a little peice of it is unglued or whatever it’s been rattling so I can’t use my speakers.
*The picture isn’t my car I’m just to lazy to get up*
An actual pic of the offending area is desirable. I had to poke a bit of rubberized insulation layer back in with the edge of a credit card in that exact same spot: and at least two others on the forum complained of that protruding stuff before my experience. I don't see how that corner could come off by itself; the entire panel would have to be coming loose. And yes, it is covered under warranty: it's a body panel: probably super easy to reattach.

Can you lift up on that, or is it still fastened down? If it lifts, you might see inside with a flashlight and tell if a fastener has let go. Somebody on the forum has had that piece off and put it back on. He's your man (if he sees this).

It seems you have lost you sticky of the 3M tape. The rear spoiler is held by 7 or 8 bolts and 3M double sided tape. The tape runs along that front edge and the bolts are buried under the interior trim pieces. On off chance its just loose, there is a bolt on either side of the deck lid hidden behind the black bump stops. You might be able to just push it down and retighten it. And honestly if you have some trunk rattle it may cure that. When i swapped decklids my "thunk" went away. Pic shows where im talking about
I had this exact same problem. Underneath the rubber block there is a hole and inside that hole is a stud with a 10mm bolt that holds the front edge of the deckled tight against the glass. On my car the driver side bolt was missing so I replaced it and the problem was completely resolved. I also checked the passenger side and the bolt was there but it was loose so I tightened it. It also solved the clunking and rattling from my hatch.
