Took my car to a mechanic and they found that the lines going to the transmission cooler on my 2020 GT1 RWD had a very minor leak. My car is CPO so I’m curious if this falls under powertrain? Kia wants to charge $200 just to look at it and if it’s not under warranty, I might as well not waste my money and have my mechanic do it. Also can someone confirm if that is what the leak is from? I am not too well versed under our car lolIMG_7482.webp

After doing research, I can't seem to find out what this is and what it is for. This doesn't look like a transmission cooler. Anyone have insight? I can't really go under my car to verify either.

Mine had a leak - exactly there - - was fixed under warranty. Yes that's the trans cooler line

I will check my CPO paperwork, but cooler was under the Gold CPO when I checked online. Curious if it’s different in the US.

Can't help you there. Can only share my experience, I purchased new. Was covered under original Kia warranty, Canada.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I originally noticed the "leak" at only 7K KMs.

It was very minor originally, waiting till 91k KMs to get it fixed.

Mine seems minor, I know I need to get it done eventually though. I guess we will wait to see what my dealership says if it falls under powertrain warranty...
