Anyone had experience with adding a tow bar? Looking to take the bikes on trips.

The $1,300 Kia price is a non starter joke. What planet is that from?

Probably just a difference in language usage, but it by 'tow bar' you are referring to what we call a tow hitch over here (a structure and ball at the rear of the car to attach a trailer to), there was a thread about some alternatives a while back. Some had their own put on by local shops/fabricators.

I would not even contemplate putting one on my Stinger but if you have to go to Parkside tow bars in Vic Park. They may have to cut into you rear diffuser to install it...messy I think. By a bunky to take the bikes.

How'd you go with this? I wanted a square hitch but the stock Kia one is a tongue (plus it's $1300 pre-delivery or $1500 anytime after). I rang two reputable after places and they don't have any.

A member in NZ had a tow bar fitted and ended up with a butchered diffuser that looked so ugly. Personally, there is no way known I would do it.
