Just gathering opinions as I anxiously await an answer from my barely competent insurance company and adjuster; does this look like a total loss?

The crash bar is pushed up, but if the sub frame is still straight they may try and fix it. It will be close.

resale value, Ima assuming your paid off, will be lower with the higher miles you've racked up, would that be pushing close to 100,000 by now? so if your damage estimate is over $15,000 that's probably over half resale value, they'll likely total it. that might be the best outcome anyway since you'll have to wait likely months to get this back. I've seen a lot less damage than that that was well over $11,000. remember general vodka's project car? he bought it for c. $12,000 and fixed it up like new and it wasn't a lot more damaged than yours, although I think he did have to have the frame straightened and yours might be fine.

Any airbags go off?

My 2022 GT1 got totaled:

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Mine was in the shop for three months, it really sucks.

I vote totaled as well. All those bits and pieces, some of them fairly major, add up. If the frame is bent definitely.

Well, looks like she's a goner. I still haven't spoken to the adjuster (assuming he's out due to ice storm in ntx) but the secondary estimate was uploaded online and show's over $24k total in damage and says "total loss" at the top.

Sucks. Sad to see it go but I have doubts it would have been the same if repaired.

Time to hunt for another

You're definitely better off if you ask me.

Insurances paid me fat for something similar! will take forever to get the parts if you decide to fix it, honestly.

Bummer! I hate seeing this. But like someone else said, you're probably better off with a totaled car. If you factor in the amount of time it would take to get parts and repair, and also the diminished value loss, I'd rather have a new (undamaged) car. I was in this same boat, but mine wasn't as bad. Still came to $16K and almost 3 months later I just got it back last week. Happy Stinger hunting!

Very tempting but I have a hard time buying the same car twice. I'm probably going with either a M340 or G70.

Good question. They sent a "total loss settlement" email but when I click the link it's dead. Not surprising they couldn't get that part right either.

Go for m340i if you're a able. A step up from the stinger. You'll sacrifice on the looks department but the b58 is a different league.
