To all Candian Stinger Owners is there auto Daylight and night time lights?

I just watched an American stinger who had an Auto switch for the lights but it would not turn on. Apparently they said the stingers do not have auto daylight or night. Just wanted to confirm if the Canadian stinger has them?

Do you mean the auto function that would turn on or off your low beams depending on if its day or night? If so yes the Canadian Stingers have it.

DRLs are the law in Canada. Auto keeps the DRLs on and turns the head lights on (and off) whenever the system deems it advisable, i.e. going at daylight through a tunnel, or a heavy thunderstorm, etc....
The high beam gets turned down for oncoming traffic....

You may want to search for the owners manual on this forum or the KIA Canada website and download it, so you can peruse it for this and similar questions. Something anybody should do when intending to buy a car....obtain the manual for the car first and familiarize yourself with it.

yes the auto headlight setting is on the headlight stalk listed as auto. what it dosnt have is auto lights when you turn the wipers on witch i very much miss.

DRL and Auto are separate issues. In Canada, DRL's as a minimum are always on. Auto determines whether low beams come on depending on light condition. Feature I like , first time seeing in the Stinger is the auto high beam; which turns to low when detects ongoing cvars or close to cars in front. I also miss low means coming on when wipers in motion.
