Hello!

I have a 2020 GT2 AWD and I am looking to pick up a set of aftermarket wheels after converting the OEM set to my winter wheels. Car is stock mechanically, only cosmetic mods so far. I am looking to go square for rotation purposes.

I have found locally a set of Rohana RC7 that are 20x9 +42 offset. They come with 245/35 tires that are pretty fresh. I know the tires aren’t the ideal size, but it is a good deal and I will get them to the proper size after the current tires get worn out (which looks to be 255/30). From looking at a tire calculator, I know they are going to be +2.6% in the front and +2.9% in the rear compared to OEM 19 staggered.

Any opinions on if this sizing would work? Too wide for the front? Too high of an offset? Or how it would look? Too much like a monster truck? Any other issues?

Thanks for any help! I have been agonizing over it for a week and I am new to going beyond stock sizing for wheels/tires.

Tire size is OK rear offset is fine but pretty sure you will have clearance issues in the front

Thanks for the response. Yeah I mostly worried about the front, given the wider wheel and the higher offset (which my basic understanding means it is farther back in the wheel well towards the brakes/suspension).

I looked at the tire list google sheet, but couldn’t find an exact match so figured I would ask. Probably just need to skip that set, and keep looking. It was just a really good deal and well within budget .
