Hey guys, I've been looking through a bunch of the discussions and doing a lot of my own research and wanted some advice on which size tires to get. I know from factory Kia has a staggered tire set up despite the car being AWD but now that I swapped out my OEM wheels for some aftermarket ones (which I should've thought about tires first but too late), I'm running a staggered set up on both wheels and tires and my rear tires are super stretched. I'm not a pro when it comes to this topic but I'm looking to run a wider, more aggressive set up while still being safe/not causing wear or damage to the car (not planning on getting spacers if these options work). (side note don't know much about offset)

Current Set Up:
Michelin Pilot Sport 4, Front: 225/40/19, Rear: 255/35/19
Wheels, Front: 19x8.5, Rear 19x10

Options for tires I'm looking to go with:
1) Front: 255/35, Rear: 295/30
2) Front: 245/35, Rear: 285/30

Based on your stated requirements & your two options you have posted I’d go for option 2.

I’m on a similar set up F: 245/35/19 - 8.5” offset 32 & R: 275/30/19 - 9.5” offset 38 without issues.

Are you lowered with that setup and I agree with you for option two for him

Option 2 will work for sure. Option 1 is dicey: you didn't include offsets.

Hell yeah. Not even Porsche is that wide yet...but probably the next Turbo S will have to be to stay relevant with better handling mid-engine cars...

Honestly, offset is the one thing I don’t know much about :( still trying to learn more about it
