2019 Stinger GT1 in ceramic silver. Only had it a couple weeks and noticed a couple of tiny Paint Chips on the door handles. Definitely feels like a little hole there and looks black in color where the paint is missing. Anyone seen anything like this? I've heard about paint quality issues but haven't seen anything posted related to this year or color.IMG_20240730_153401435.webpIMG_20240730_153341804.webp

Truth! I should bought one that was more beat up. I wouldn't even have noticed the door handles lol

My GT1 was brand new, not even 30 miles on it, and when I got it home I saw little white, not black, nicks in the door handle. As soon as I got my touchup paint kit from KIA, I dabbed them and they've remained touched up ever since. The touchup looks a darn sight better than the primer coat, as I said, in my car's case white, not black.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I think your advice makes sense. Get the touch up paint and don't sweat it. I would have been even more annoyed at 30 miles! Is the touch up paint you are referring to the Kia branded one like this:

Yes. It's very handy for small jobs like chips. That means it is a good tool for knocking back road rash and attrition.

Great! Thank you for your help. Much appreciated. I gotta say I love the way this car just throws you back in your seat!!!
