I have had the JB4 for a while now and have the fuel/octane/ethanol requirements down pretty well for maps 1-4 (Stinger GT AWD). Recently on map 3 with 93/e30 I was getting a lot of IGN 4 activity, up to 6, while all others were 0. I switched to map 2 and same story. I checked that plug (whatever plug BMS sells for these cars, have about 9k on them) and it was at .026. I brought it back down to .022 and re logged and pretty much the same story. Occasionally I get a blip on IGN 3, but nothing significant. Any ideas? I'm sure the octane is fine for the map and didn't do it this summer. I know the E probably isn't as good with the winter blend but I should still be plenty fine on map 2. If octane was the issue, I would think I would be seeing more activity on other cylinders. Fuel pid never drops below 10, AFR is high 11 during the pulls, trims seem ok, everything else looks normal.

has to be the plug or the coil, right?

I am going to have to look into the same thing. Seems I have a couple of issues with a couple of cylinders pulling as high as 6 degrees. It does not happen frequently but enough that it worries me.

Would the Flex kit help with determining if it is an octane vs plug issue? Running the "guess my octane" game with E85/91, I do have timing pulls frequently at 2.5-3 in high RPMs regardless of map 0-3. Possible that my engine doesn't like the Densos and I should switch to HKS?

If it makes a difference, I only have about 1k miles on these plugs.

I wish I had trims like yours on long pulls. Mine max all the time - I'm above 5k feet in altitude which Ando sniffed out immediately without even knowing where I live. Another Kudos to BMS support.
