I have owned a GT2 for two months now and for the most part I have been stuck with NYC traffic. I took a few trips upstate but for the most part I have yet to be able to have the stinger stretch her legs. In a couple weeks I am taking my bi-annual road trip to northern wisconsin/michigan to visit family and I couldn't be more excited! I always enjoyed the trip with the cadillac ATS i used to have, but something about the stinger makes driving so much more enjoyable.

I always get the questioning look when I tell people that I am driving to wisconsin and not flying. As long as I have the time and not in a rush, why fly? Driving is much more enjoyable and you get to see places you have never been.

Overall I expect to be putting 3,000 miles on in the 14 day road trip. I will be staying a few days in Tobermory Canada where I will be putting the stinger on a fairy across a portion of Lake Huron. I also have a cabin rented near lake superior for a few days.

I am looking for recommendations for places/things to see and do near the route below! Any input would be appreciated. I am willing to go a bit out of the way.

Enjoy the trip. Great color stinger!

If you start with the NYS Thruway, you'll make better time and have the upstate NYS cities on the way to stop. Not to mention that once your out there, you can make good time with the traffic going 85 mph or so. Otherwise its a lot of red barns and black and white cows.

Thanks for the tip. I am definitely more interested in nice places to stop rather than making good time. I am especially looking for good places to eat.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
enjoy! I have put about 10k miles on mine doing road trips over the past 3 months Haha, it really is a grand tourer! comfy, fast and sexy

Then stop in Hudson NY. the hottest town upstate. I work there and wr can meet up for lunch and Stinger-ing :)

Sounds tempting but the timing would be off. Looking for lunch somewhere around buffalo or Rochester on the first leg of the drive.
