Ticking noise.

Hi All,
I have noticed a ticking sound around the area where the interior lights and sun glass holder is located. The noise only happens when the car has been sitting in the hot sun {So. Cal} all day when at work. When i'm driving home that's when i here it. A few hours later when it's been sitting in my garage and i go out no noise. So it's some how tied to heat i just don't know what piece of plastic is expanding :{ Any thoughts?

i live in so cal as well and i have never hear this noise in my car. i would see if the dealership can replicate it and see if they can find a solution for you . you shouldn't be hearing anything like that.

Second the visit to the dealer. I would also take a video of it when it is according, inside and out to show them so they will have it if it does not occur when in their possession.

Thanks guys, I'll monitor it for a few more weeks and then take it in. The noise only seems to happen when the car has been sitting in the hot sun for hours but as soon as it cools down a bit it goes away. Strange me thinks.
