New to the Stinger and trying to learn as much as I can reading online. I'm looking to do my first mods and would love thoughts on these choices!

  1. Eibach springs (for aesthetics)
  2. MBRP exhaust (for better sound)
  3. JB4 (obvious ;))
  4. Denso Plugs
  5. Injen Intake - I know it frees up airflow and they advertise 20/10 gains, but is this mod really necessary?

Eibach springs (for aesthetics)

Springs can do more than just improve aesthetics. If you have a RWD Stinger, you may wish to look at the H&R-specific set.

MBRP exhaust (for better sound)

Gives better performance as well.

Both worth doing.

Nothing thus far is necessary - but along with the exhaust, intakes will help the engine to breathe better, and a better breathing engine will produce more power.

About the only mod I'd consider to be necessary on a Stinger is an oil catch can. GDI engines suffer from valve buildups as the fuel doesn't wash the valves clean, and this causes problems with power and reliability, and thus a good OCC can help to reduce or remove this as a long-term issue.

As an additional item - if you have a GT2 with the adjustable suspension, a lot of people are getting really good benefits from the ECS10 control module as well.

IMHO, 4, 3, 5, 2, 1, in that order. The JB4 is the most dramatic improvement. I was skeptical about intakes, but that improvement was more dramatic than I expected. Maybe sway bars, in addition to springs.

Pretty much what I’m running... and a little more. You’ll be Happy.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Sway bars are definitely a great mod

I just took my car on a local winding highway last night. I had absolutely no one in front of me for most of it. With just sway bars installed I was in heaven. No feeling the car’s weight try to push outward, everything felt light and direct. I’ve been saying for months that sway bars are the best mod you could do with this car and should be the first one you do. After last night, I am super convinced of that.

Eibach Sway Bars front & rear + Whiteline Heavy Duty End Links are a great combination for a vastly improved driving experience especially on windy & twisty roads.

I would like to do the intakes and maybe new exhaust for more sound. But dang import fees is really high here (From outside europe imports)
