Thoughts on LED Emblems?

Seems there’s now options for the MB style lit emblems (new to me anyway, searched the forum and didn’t see it listed before). What do folks think? Personally I kinda like the rear one, but not sure about the front.

I personally think it looks tacky, it sits right at the level of underbody glow kits for me. But honestly car mods are really in the eye of the beholder everyone has a different opinion.

I think they're incredibly tacky. Especially the factory ones that you seem to inevitably see on the lowest tier Benzs.

I think i might consider the front more if it was just the E that subtly glowed instead of a bright LED backlight. The rear really doesn’t look bad to me, but would again look better if it was the actual lettering glowing instead of a backlight.

I’m also not sure why they’d want you to wire it to the DRLs, which means they’d be on all day for those that leave lights in Auto.

they didn’t event make the logo transparent and have light coming through the e it looks like somethings wrong w the car imo lol

That's the most polite way I can think of putting it.

There are parts of Atlanta where I am sure these would be a hit, but you generally see '90's Impalas on 30" chrome rims, not Stingers.

Yea i have to agree with everyone else. If it was the E that glowed I'd totally before it. I feel like at night you will just see a lit up circle.
