Hi everyone, I am currently driving a 2016 Ford Taurus SHO with 436 HP 500 TQ to the wheels, seeing that this is a 4500 lbs boat, I am considering getting a used GT2 to shed some lbs and I am hopeful that the GT2 will eventually have supporting drivetrain mods that will allow the GT2 to achIeve the engines potential which I don't currently have in the SHO. This car would be my Daily Driver, putting around 30-40k per year on her. Just curious how much modding I would have to do to achieve better or at least similar performance as the SHO. My best quarter mile is 12.2 sec at 115mph.

That quarter mile was on a 100 octane tune might add

It's all here in this forum, particularly look at the 1/4 mile thread, most have included their mods. Doesn't take much to get that - a tune or piggyback alone will get you close.
