coupe version? convertible? stripped down racer? manual transmission? there are pro's and con's to all these that i sit and discuss with the mrs, but what do you all think?
personally, i say no to all of these options. live it as is.
i love the lines as a sedan, and the fact that it is a sedan makes it that much more interesting and desirable.
convertible, see above.
stripped down racer, i prefer to buy a beater, or even a stolen recovery stinger and make it into a racer. don't want to buy a factory produced one.
and, the manual question. learned on one, love them, but with all the traffic i deal with, i don't relish the thought of clutch changes. and my calves are muscular enough, i don't want a bigger left calf.

I think a lot of people would like a coupe - but probably not enough... A convertible coupe would be interesting for sure... A stripped-down racer with a manual transmission would sell. These days, I think a CUV with Stinger DNA would sell very well...

I believe you mean a "Sport Activity Coupe" (SAC) lol

I would sell my current stinger in a heart beat and pay 10k more to get that wagon.

Either one of those wagons.

I can see the top wagon being a production model for next gen. Still too prototype looking but the way cars are looking, I wouldn't be surprised if that's how cars will be 3 to 4 years from now.

uh... surpringly i find the estate/wagon version more appealing than the coupe.

I agree, not real interested in the coupe version, but those wagons. Big time!!!!!!

Someone with connects to Kia spread the word. We want a wagon!

mmmmmmm a wagon .

I prefer the current Stinger. I would have no use of a wagon and I find the two door Stinger not aggressive enough to outweigh the practicality offered by the four door.

Yeah the Kombi is nice :) The Pickup thing is an abomination. Bury it in holy ground and sprinkle holy water over it.

One more thing , I think they should solve the trunk rattle problem before thinking about a wagon .

You say that, till you get a wagon. Then the practically of it will make you never want anything else again. Sole reason why I bought a stinger and didn't wait for the g70.

Having owned 2 saab wagons and driven another mb one for work. I found that hatchbacks are more prone to trunk rattle than wagons. Dated a few girls who owned hatches.

it is an easy fix, something like tightening the bump stops. there is a thread here where several of the members explain how it is fixed. it is a first year model and there will be some niggling little problems.

No rattles in my GT2.

No rattles here too.
