Plenty of pics from the rally. Just a few posted here. Pretty good time with more speed than we care to discuss in fear of incrimination. Lots of confetti, Post It notes and Saran Wrap in the hotel parking lots. Definitely doing the next one.

One guy got a ticket for 98 in a 65. The fine was $2500.00 and had to appear in court. He finished the rally with us though. Didn't take his car.

if they can get that much out of 33 over they could have taken the car. the law is very uneven from sea to shining sea of this great land.

For those of us who do not know. What's the purpose of the saran wrapping the car? Ghetto clear bra to protect from chips?

Hmmm i have never gotten caught at high speeds but a 10 over ticket is 400 bucks where i live so i assume 1500 for 30 over if its a linear system.

Now if you double the limit its reckless driving and the fine is huge.

Over double and you go to jail here.
I always have fun up to a few mph below double. Just to be 'safe'

The purpose is to screw with people while they are sleeping. Some were even wrapped together. The confetti, Post It notes and silly string all over them serves the same purpose. It's just done as a joke throughout the rally. All comes off easy.

Wow 400 bucks for ten over Is ridiculous. I was out in the sticks on Sunday and was going 20 over and passed by a state highway patrol. I saw him pulling out and turning on his lights and that old impulsive self took over. I punched it! He actually closed distance, but when we got to the twisties I guess he wasn't willing to risk it. First time I really got the car sideways.

I live just over the county line so i get it but i do not run. Usually i know what i did and pull over before the lights come on.

I do have one cop story.
Just coming home from the local drag strip (PIR) in my eagle talon tsi
I was taking it easy in the left lane now that i think of it... 55 zone going 60 tops.

A car had been ridding my ass (in hindsight i should have moved over) but i was upset in a fast car so i just chilled 5 over passing cars .

After the bridge from Oregon to Washington this ass rider passed me and i see its a portland cop in an unmarked.

Anyway as he passes me he cuts me off and taps the brakes then floors it.

Now im upset and the cop is out of jurisdiction.

So anyway i dropped a couple gears and went from 60 to 140 real fast. Let off and coasted to freeway speeds no brakes.

A few miles up the road at my exit he finally caught up (crown vic) and hit the lights. I pull off on the shoulder and he kills the lights and leaves.

He could have waited for a washington cop but i assume he was headed home.

Moral. Move over if someone is ridding your ass. Dont cut off tuners out of jurisdiction. Annnnd be safe oh course.
