This is the real hard hitting, in depth information you guys are looking for, something the car reviewers won't tell you: oh sh*t handle strength.

So my wife wanted to pick up some table cloths from the dry cleaner while we were out, I thought okay just a few of them no big deal. Well it turned out to be 8 table cloths and another 10 place mats which the guy hung right from the oh sh*t handle in the back of my car. When we got home I was shocked to see how much was there, I was even more shocked when I picked them up. It may not sound like much, but we have a pretty good sized table that seats 8 people and those cloths were pretty damn heavy all together. I knew at that point that we had a quality grab handle in the Stinger.

Why doesn't Kia advertise this sort of thing? Think of the tens of thousands of people that would flock to the brand if they only knew.

"Grab handles"? What are those? Oh, you mean those things over your head that fold into the headliner and never get used? :P

Actually I use the one in my wife's car every time I ride in it. The Mitsubishi quality is seriously lacking though, we constantly have to screw it back into place because it comes loose when you actually use it. No way it passes the incredibly scientific 8 tablecloth/10 place mat test.

Have to admit it but I used mine all the time when cruising or stopped in traffic. I would grab the handle instead of leaning my arm on the door when the window was down.

I guess I am officially "weird".......LOL

Supra does not have them and didn't miss them until after reading a couple of the recent threads about them......

Curious if "no grab handles" was a deal breaker on the Supra for some people.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

LOL.........probably not but for me, I got used to AppleCarPlay in the Stinger and told the sales guy to demonstrate it for me before I signed any paperwork!!! Of course, on the Supra, ACP is NOT standard and comes with the "tech" package that adds quite a bit along with an additional $3500 charge......

The BMW influence is more a deterrent than anything else.....I didn't give a damn....lol

My deal pretty much paid for the tech package so even though I didn't get the handles, I got ACP and the car......WIN,WIN....
