The name Stinger was first used in Grand Theft Auto.

I totally forgot about that! But yes the cars look nothing alike, the GTA car was probably modeled after a real car and just given the fake name.

I don’t know where the Stinger name came from, the car original name was GT when it was a concept back in 2011. Never taught they would make it back then, hope they make the GT4 into a real car.
