The Kia Stinger is Business Insider's 2018 Car of the Year

Wow, this review is a love letter written in a very flowery style. "It's supposed to be a gran turismo, a touring car, designed to recall a time when well-heeled European couples saddled up their elegant GTs and set their sights on beachfront enclaves. The Stinger is a car that craves a weekend trip to someplace nice."

My favorite line: "Do you want to rub the leather all day or drive the car?"

Business Insider does car reviews?

I'm not gonna complain about another award, but that's a weird source. Is the next headline going to be "Kia Stinger - Cosmopolitan's 2018 Car of the Year"? Lol.

Actually, a lot of the business publications do car reviews: Biz Insider, US News-World Report, Forbes, even the Wall Street Journal. Some of the reviewers are pretty good. Presumably, the folks that read these have a lot of interest... and a lot of money to spend on new cars! ;)

I read the article earlier in the day. BTW - a friend sent me the link. He's a 2-time BM'er and current Merc C-Class owner... and I think he's jealous! :D . Anyway, that line rang true to me - the "GT-ness". My wife and I aren't 'well-heeled', we aren't European, and we don't have a beachfront enclave. But since I bought in May, we've taken a 1/2 dozen weekend+ trips of 1000+ miles, round-trip. The car is perfect for that: can fit all our stuff easily; comfort/seats are great - they don't tire you out; all the great amenities + tech; the car is quiet and 'hunkers down' at high speeds, and... you look good doing it! Then, add-in the overall power, performance, and driving-fun... and that's what really makes the car special, IMHO.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

(Oops. Somehow got my reply inserted into Gronk's quote. My bad.)
