So after some digging around about lightweight wheels I came across this dyno run from a camaro that went to lightweight wheels, 10 pound reduction, and saw the "power" increase. Now I realize it's not a power increase per say, we're just making the engine transfer power more efficiently. That is a RWD car with only a 10lb reduction. If we were to say reduce our stock tubby boy rims that weigh 34lb to a more svelte 20lb rim with lightweight rotors that save an additional 5lbs on an AWD car, are we talking a potential 20 or 40 hp/tq increase? Again not an actual power increase but an efficiency increase.
